Dear Prospective Merchant:

The Shreveport-Bossier Opera Guild will host its 34th Annual Les Boutiques de Noel November 20, 21 & 22, 2008. Once again, our event will be at the Bossier Civic Center in Bossier City, Louisiana. Les Boutiques will kick-off with a Shopping Preview Party held the evening of Wednesday, November 19th. We are pleased to invite you to apply to become one of the quality merchants that will continue to make our market a success.

Les Boutiques de Noel is our major fundraiser and benefits the Shreveport/Bossier Opera. Limiting space in each category will ensure a variety of merchandise while allowing our merchants maximum sales potential. Enclosed, for your consideration, is a merchant application along with information about the sizes and prices of the booths available.

The criteria by which merchants are selected include the quality and uniqueness of merchandise, booth decoration and display. Please include merchandise photographs, photography of booth display, and examples of pricing with your completed application. All photographs should be labeled with your company’s name. Photographs will not be returned.

Interested merchants are encouraged to return completed applications, supporting materials and their deposit as soon as possible as the timeliness of receipt may be a factor in some selection decision. Last year, we filled up quickly and sold out of booths weeks before the event. Please note, an acceptance in the 2007 Les Boutiques de Noel does not guarantee acceptance in the 2008 event.

In addition, please keep in mind that merchants are also required to make a donation to our silent auction of an item with a retail value of at least $50.

If you are selected to be a merchant, you will be sent an acceptance letter and a contract. Booth assignments will be made after the selection process is completed, signed contract is received and final payment has been made.
